Chandra Prabha, wife of Thakur Uday Pratap is very calm and silent lady. She has immense faith in God. She wants to give good education to her children so that they can face the world and the changing times with courage. She is the support system for the children and a silent participant in their happiness.

Swarn Lata

Swarn Lata

Swarn Lata is the married daughter of Thakur. She is a very traditional woman with not much education and regrets that she couldn't get the opportunity for higher education. She supports and encourages her siblings Prakash and Abha. She is married to Samarjeet but gets separated later.

Swarn Prakash

Swarn Prakash is a humorous character and enjoys his richness. He believes that with money he has achieved everything in life. He is not a graduate and very irresponsible even at the age of 28. He loves to imitate his father and pass time with his friends though he doesn't believe in friendship.

Later, he struggles in life to cope up with the changing times.

Swarn Abha

Swarn Abha is the main protagonist of the show. She is young, bright and a sagacious girl withholding on to her traditional and contemporary values. She is pampered and loves her family.

Abha is a very intelligent and wants to become a lawyer. But when she understands her father's emotions and traditional value system, she decides to give up on her ambition like an ideal daughter.

As days progress, her mother pushes her towards being responsible and initiates her towards household chores.

Thakur Uday Pratap

Thakur Uday Prataap, the owner of Swarn Bhavan is a man of pride. He is very stubborn and strict but at the same time he is a family man and can do anything for his family traditions. He cannot adjust with the new generation and doesn't accept the truth of changing times. He lives in falsehood and false pride.

When Karan asks Albeli (who is posing as Abha) why she was behaving so strange, Albeli retorts that Karan had lost trust in her. She says that she had taken the decision to not sign on the property papers thoughtfully.

Priyanka rejoices seeing Albeli playing her part well and decides to pay her the money se owes.

Albeli is on her way to give the money to Bittu when Shelly accidentally collides against her. The money in her hand falls down. Karan who is also present there asks Albeli where the money came from. Priyanks comes to her rescue and lies to Karan and Shelly that Abha was on her way to return the money which Priyanka's mother had sent for her.

Kanika asks Sheetal to convince Prakash into patching up with her. She lures Sheetal by telling her how she was the owner of Swarn Bhavan now and how Raj transferred it on her name.

Albeli reaches her camp and comes across Abha. However, at that time Abha, who has become mentally unstable, accidentally sticks her head into a metal pot and is unable to remove it. Albeli is unable to see her face and walks away calling her a lunatic.

Albeli sneaks inside her tent and hands over to the money to Bittu. She asks him to keep the money safe from Natwar and visit a specialist in the city for his treatment.

Albeli tries to slip out from the camp when she sees Abha still struggling with the pot on her head. Just then, Jhumroo arrives there and sees the commotion. When he fails to remove the pot, he offers to go and call the blacksmith.

When Jhumroo leaves, Albeli hurries there and manages to remove the pot from the girl's head.

In the previous episode, Albeli (who is posing as Abha) refused to part with her share of the property. Albeli stated that she would not sign on any property documents.

Karan sternly questions Abha why she was behaving so strange. Albeli states that she was not interested in becoming great in the eyes of everyone. She adds that she had always been let down by the family be it Shelly or Pratibha. She declares that she had now decided to be selfish and think only about Pavani.

Daimaa finds Raj upset and assures him that the woman who had spoiled his past would never come back to haunt his future.

Albeli confronts Priyanka and asks her for the first installment of her dues. She tells Priyanka that she had promised to play Abha for a month and that the countdown to month-end had begun. Priyanka asks Albeli to not act in haste but Albeli asserts that she would leave on time. When Priyanka tries to stop Albeli from stepping out to meet Bittu, she snaps back asking Priyanka to back off.

Kanika comes crying to Pratibha and pretends to be dejected because of Prakash's refusal to patch up their relationship. Pratibha comments that Abha, Lata and Prakash had no moral values and did not know how to save relationships. When Pratibha states that she had complete trust in Kanika, Albeli comments that no one should trust a woman who killed her own child. Kanika leaves in a huff much to Pratibha's disappointment.

Karan once again asks Albeli why she was not her usual self. Karan observes that though in case of Kanika she echoed his thoughts, there was something amiss about her. Though outwardly he agreed with her, somehow he was sure something was wrong.

In the previous episode, Albeli revolted when Priyanka insulted her. However, Priyanka reminds Albeli that she needed money desperately for Bittu's treatment. Albeli recollects the first time she met Priyanka and how she promised her money for posing as Abha.

At the dinner table, Lata asks Raj why he seemed so upset. However, Raj refuses to divulge anything. Just then, Kanika enters and says that she knows the reason. Kanika feigns repentance and apologizes to Prakash who is also present there. She says that she acted impulsively without giving thought to the consequences. She says that she wants to give their relationship a fresh start. She exhorts Raj to convince Prakash. Prakash, however, firmly refuses to patch up the differences and make a new start.

Bittu hands over Albeli's clothes to Abha. Abha gets elated on seeing the colorful clothes and tells Bittu to arrange for food soon after. He wonders why his sister was acting so strange. Just then, Natwar arrives and calls out to Bittu.

Vimal suggests to Karan that they should start off with some modest business to begin with. However, Karan says that they had absolutely no money with them that they could invest as capital.

Priyanka takes the opportunity and butts into the conversation. She suggests that they could mortgage the property that Jagmohan had transferred on Abha's name and take a loan from the bank. Karan and Vimal recollect the property details and get elated.

Vimal comes back with bank details while Karan starts explaining to Albeli how they could get the capital they required with the help of the property.

The episode takes an interesting turn when Albeli (who is posing as Abha) refuses to part with her share of the property. Albeli states that she would not sign on any property documents. While Priyanka rejoices, the rest of the family is appalled.

In the previous episode, Karan sensed that something strange was going around him and turned back, however he failed to notice Abha. Abha, who is also present outside the hospital, fails to see Karan.

Raj notices apprehension on Lata's face. On enquiring with Lata, Raj learns that she was feeling sad since Abha's family was in trouble and that she could not help them. She adds that she would be able to handle the situation if she knew the reason because of which Raj was forced to throw the Prasads out of Swarn Bhavan.

Raj recalls the conversation which he had with Kanika wherein he told Kanika that no one must learn about his past.

Shelly gets puzzled when she overhears Priyanka murmuring to herself about Abha's condition. On enquiring with Priyanka, Shelly learns that her sister-in-law was only expressing her concern over Abha's condition.

Just then Abha and Karan return from the hospital. Karan informs the family that he could not take Abha to the psychiatrist since Abha had tumbled down the temple steps and injured herself.

On hearing Karan's statement, Priyanka breathes a sigh of relief. The Prasads are shocked to see Priyanka's reactions. Priyanka explains that she is relieved that Abha did not get severely injured.

The accident that Abha has met with leaves her with the intelligence of a child. She also forgets her past. Abha goes to a roadside toy seller's cart and asks him to give her a toy. She steals the toy and escapes since she does not have money to pay to the hawker.

The hawker and few bystanders chase Abha. The story takes an interesting turn when Bittu runs into Abha. He believes Abha was Albeli and tells her that Natwar used to beat him in her absence.

When Priyanka insults Albeli, Albeli asserts that she will not bear her insult. Priyanka reminds Albeli that not fulfilling her job would make her life miserable as Natwar and Bittu were living in dire poverty.

Albeli mentions to Priyanka that she was working since she needed money for Bittu's treatment. She assures Priyanka that she would develop hatred for Abha in the minds of the Prasad family. Before ending the conversation, Albeli tells Priyanka not to insult her in the future.

Karan fails to notice Abha, who is in an unconscious state, lying on a stretcher right opposite Pavani and Albeli. 

Raj tells Dai Ma that it was impossible to forget the person. He states that he has to face the truth, no matter what the result would be.

Priyanka calls up Karan to learn about Albeli's condition. Karan tells Priyanka that Albeli was fine and that he has explained the entire incident to Shelly.

Priyanka rages at Lata who has come to visit Abha and Pavani. She adds that it was impossible to believe that Lata did not know that Raj wanted to claim his right over Swarn Bhavan.

Pratibha too expresses her anger at Lata by insulting her and asking her to leave. Kanika, who just has arrived, gets elated to see that the Prasads insulting Lata. Insulted by Pratibha and Priyanka's words, Lata leaves in a huff.

Pratibha gets apprehensive when Kanika tells her that she met a marriage counselor who advised her to stay with Prakash for six months.

Bittu tries his best to stop Natwar from breaking Albeli's piggy bank, however he fails.

Abha and Karan, who are passing through the hallway, fail to notice each other. Pavani notices Abha and calls out to her in her baby language.

Concerned about Pavani, Albeli tells Karan that she wants to hold the baby. Albeli finds it weird as she never expressed concern for any other child besides Bittu. 

While standing outside the hospital, Karan tells Albeli, who was posing as Abha, that sometimes he finds it strange whether she is the Abha whom he knows. Albeli finds Karan's statement weird and asks him to explain it.

Just then a nurse calls out to Karan. Coincidentally, Abha too walks out of the hospital then. Abha notices Pavani's toy and picks it up.  Karan senses that something strange was going around him and turns back.
