Archana (Ankita Lokhande) is the ideal daughter any parent would love to have. Always ready to sacrifice her happiness for the welfare of others, Archana droped out of school to take care of her younger siblings.

Sulochana

Kind, considerate and humility personified, Sulochana (Savita Prabhune) is a typical Maharashtrian housewife. She worries about finding a suitable match for her daughter Archana. Fears of failure, results in Sulochana getting panic attacks.
A woman of principles, Sulochana is fiercely protective of her family.

Manohar Karanjkar

Sulochana's husband and Archana's father, Manohar (60) is very practical by nature and has seen several ups and downs in life. Currently leading a retired life after several years of service in Indian Railways, Manohar never loses his cool even in tense situations. He has frequent arguments with Sulochana over Archana's marriage. Manohar loves Archana a lot and always support her.

Vinod Karanjkar

Manohar and Sulochana's eldest child, Vinod (Parag Tyagi) is protective about Archana, Varsha and Vaishali. Vinod is employed with a ticket checker (TC) in the Indian Railways. Vinod is kind and humble by nature, unlike his wife Manjusha. Vinod doesn't approve Manjusha's attitude but suffers in silence to maintain peace in the family.

Manjusha Karanjkar

Vinod's selfish and egotistic wife, Manjusha (Swati Anand) has no respect for her in-laws. Hailing from a rich family, Manjusha considers the Karanjikars inferior and leaves no opportunity to insult them. Manjusha hates contributing to the household chores.

Employed with the Income Tax department, Manjusha wants to move out of the Dombivli residence of Karanjikars along with Vinod and their daughter Purnima. She hates Archana and believes that the family gives her undue importance. Manjusha often insults Archana for not being able to find a suitable husband.

In the previous episode, Archana and Manav got shocked when Sulochana decided to leave the Deshmukh residence.

A concerned Manav tries to compel Sulochana to change her decision. Savita intervenes and states that Manav must not interfere in Sulochana's decision. She further states that if Sulochana leaves from the Deshmukh residence, Vinod would realize his responsibility towards his mother. Savita further contradicts her statement by saying that she wasn't concerned whether Vinod fulfills his responsibilities towards Sulochana or not.

Sulochana is firm on her decision and tells Savita not to worry about her. As Manav considers Sulochana like his mother, he wants to fulfill his responsibilities towards her. Manav therefore decides to accompany Sulochana and Manohar. Savita is left surprised on Manav's decision. Savita requests Manav to change his decision but fails.

Before leaving the house Manav states that Archana would take care of Savita in his absence. Manav requests Archana to make Savita understand his responsibilities towards Sulochana and Manohar. 

When Manav, Sulochana and Manohar leave, Savita stops them. She expresses her pain of separating from Manav. For Manav's sake, Savita compels Sulochana to wait at Deshmukh residence. She promises Sulochana that no one will ever taunt her regarding her stay at Deshmukh residence. Savita takes Sulochana's luggage and keep it inside the room.

In the previous episode, Sulochana, Archana and the others got shocked when Manohar returned to the Karanjakar residence.

Sulochana expresses her moments of sadness and disparity which she went through in Manohar's absence. Manohar apologizes to Sulochana for leaving her. He explains that after getting accused in the robbery case, he could not bear Manjusha and Vinod's taunts and hence was forced to leave. He adds that he decided to return after Manav informed him about Manjusha and Vinod's ill-treatment towards Sulochana.

After clearing the issues, the couple happily celebrates their wedding anniversary with friends and relatives. 

Manjusha expresses her bewilderment when Rasika informs her about Manohar's return. Vinod gets elated to hear the news.

Archana thanks Manav for bringing happiness in Sulochana's life. She states that she tried to keep her happy in every possible way, however she was still upset. Archana believes that after Manohar's return, Sulochana would no longer live a sad life.

Savita asks Sundari to start complaining about Sulochana's return at the Deshmukh residence. Savita signals Sundari to begin with her remarks as soon as Sulochana enters the kitchen.

As directed by Savita, Sundari starts complaining about Sulochana's return. She adds that Sulochana had promised that she would not come back after the auction of the Karanjakar residence. Sulochana gets upset when Sundari states the Deshmukh had to suffer as both Manohar and Sulochana would be living in the house.

Savita pretends to stop Sundari's rant and asks Sulochana to overlook her comments. An insulted Sulochana tells Savita that she was forced to return to the Deshmukh house on Archana's insistence.

On hearing the commotion, Archana and Manav rush to the hall. Archana and Manav get shocked when Sulochana states that she and Manohar would leave from the Deshmukh residence.

Sulochana tells Archana that she wanted to personally take care of the guests, who had come for her and Manohar's wedding anniversary celebrations.

In order to gain Vaishali's trust, Dharmesh pretends to apologize to Archana for standing against her in the auction instead of supporting her. He states that he was unaware that Archana wanted to purchase the Karanjakar house for Sulochana. For Vaishali's sake Archana forgives Dharmesh and asks him to stay away from her family hence forth.

As expected by Dharmesh, Vaishali notices him apologizing to Archana. Vaishali gets elated to witness the scenario.

Archana gets apprehensive thinking that in two days hence the house would not belong to them.

Sulochana is about to cut the cake when Manav enters. Sulochana and Archana get elated to see Manav. Manav apologizes to Sulochana for not being able to save the Karanjakar house but was happy to tell her that he has brought Manohar back home. The gathering is stunned when Manohar enters the house. Sulochana is left speechless and is barely able to control her emotions on seeing Manohar.

Dharmesh calls his colleague and learns that Manav had not yet called to inform DK of his return. Dharmesh also learns from his colleague that he had not yet managed to find out who had purchased the Karanjakar residence.

To cheer up Sulochana, Archana takes her to the Karanjakar residence. Savita, Sachin and Soham also accompany them. Sulochana gets elated when she finds the house decorated. She gets surprised when the guests greet her as she enters. Vandita and her family also attend the party.

Rasika tells Ajit that she asked him to accompany the party since she was excepting some kind of mayhem at the party. She explains that the parties, which Archana hosts, are always entertaining since some or the other issue always creates havoc.

Sulochana gets irritated when Dharmesh arrives at the Karanjakar arrives for the party. Dharmesh wishes Sulochana and asks her to bless him.

Archana gets elated when Punni and Ruchi too arrive. They tell her that they had heard her and Vaishali talking about the anniversary party and asked permission from Vinod to attend it. They add that Manjusha tried to oppose, however Vinod did not pay attention to her and dropped them outside the Karanjakar residence.

Archana realizes that Vinod was repenting for his blunder. She decides that they must forgive him

Rasika tries to compel Savita to throw Sulochana out of the Deshmukh residence. Rasika gets irritated when Savita mocks her by stating that she attended the function as she wanted to witness Manjusha's defeat. Rasika and Savita make a fun of Sulochana as she only has a night to spend at the Karanjakar residence. Sulochana gets upset when she overhears their conversation.

Sachin gets irritated when Soham continues to cry despite Sundari trying to handle him. Sachin recalls that when Archana serves chocolate milk to Soham, he stops crying. He asks Sundari to give him chocolate milk to pacify him.

Archana expresses her anger at Manjusha since both Sulochana and Vinod were suffering because of her deeds. Archana gets irritated saying they had no idea about the person who has purchased the Karanjakar residence. She asserts that if Manjusha had not thrown Sulochana out of the house, they would have never been in this situation.

Manjusha holds Archana responsible for her condition and states that she would have never rescheduled date had Archana not shown her willingness to participate in the auction. Vinod, who overhears their conversation, is left shocked.

Varsha gets irritated when she learns that Satish had participated in the auction. She expresses her anger by stating that her family had separated her from Soham because of which she was suffering from depression.

Sulochana expresses her pain as they were not able to save the Karanjakar residence. She informs Archana that it was her and Manohar's wedding anniversary and that she would have been happy if they would have managed to save the house. She expresses her desire to be able to spend the day at the Karanjkar house.

Keeping Sulochana's wish in mind, Archana and Vaishali go to the Karanjakar residence. Manjusha gets irritated to see Archana and Vaishali. She states that she and her family wanted to live in peace as they had only two days more to spend in their house.

Archana ignores Manjusha and requests Vinod that since it was Sulochana and Manohar's wedding anniversary, she wanted to organize a get together for her mother's happiness. She adds that she wanted Sulochana to cherish some unforgettable moments at the Karanjakar residence for one last time. Manjusha gets irritated since Vinod willingly agrees.

Vaishali and Archana express their disbelief as they had not expected Vinod to easily agree. Before leaving, Vaishali tells Archana that she would get Dharmesh along with her for the function as it was important for one of Sulochana's son-in-law to be present at the occasion. Archana gets irritated to hear it; however she does not refuse Vaishali.
