Mrs. Bindeshwari Kaushik

Mrs. Bindeshwari Kaushik is a strict-disciplinarian. She lives by rules as she believes it helps in managing a joint family better. Behind Bindeshwari's tough exterior, is a kind-hearted and loving mother who loves each and every member of her family.

Gehna

Gehna is married to Utkash, the eldest son of the Kaushik family. She is a strong woman with caring nature. She nurtures and keeps her family members bonded with each other. Gehna loves to cook food and serve everyone. Patient, forgiving to a fault and understanding, Gehna exemplifies the earth element among Bindeshwari's daughter-in-laws.

Nimmi

Nimmi is married to Bittu and is the second bahu of the Kaushik family. She loves to live life to the fullest. Funny and energetic, Nimmi wins everyone's hearts with her childlike innocence. Nimmi exemplifies the air element among Bindeshwari's daughter-in-laws.

Simran

Simran is married to Shivendu and is the third bahu of the Kaushik family. Both Shivendu and Simran serve in the police force. Calm as well as strong, Simran can handle any situation.

Ria

Ria is married to Aditya and is the fourth bahu of the Kaushik family. She can mould herself as the situation demands. Having lived in the UK, Ria is nostalgic about her life there. She is fearless and does not hesitate to give her views on any topic. Ria exemplifies the fire element among Bindeshwari's daughter-in-laws.

In the previous episode, Lovely managed to get back the stolen bangles from the junk man by threatening him to be a policewoman. Lovely had stolen Simran's police uniform and accosted the thief.

Bindeshwari wonders where the bangles disappeared from home. Just then, Lovely reaches home in the police uniform with the bangles. Everyone is shocked to see her. Lovely tells Bindeshwari that the junk man had stolen the bangles from the house and that she threatened him to give them back.

To Lovely's disappointment, Bindeshwari accuses Lovely of bribing the junk man to lie and plotting the robbery and recovery herself. Gehna too remarks that Lovely was making up the story and faking the robbery. Simran too shoots at Lovely for stealthily wearing her uniform and faking to be a policewoman.

Lovely tries to explain that she was not lying this time and that the junk man had truly stolen the bangles. However, Gehna snaps at her saying that she could be a chronic liar but they could not tolerate even a single lie.

Bindeshwari sternly asks Lovely to stay out of their household matters and not poke her nose time and again. Kartik witnesses Bindeshwari and Gehna insulting Lovely and remarks that Lovely should listen to them.

He walks up to Lovely and asks her if she really expected Bindeshwari and the rest to thank her for recovering the stolen bangles and accepting her back. Kartik states that whatever she does for them, she would never be treated well. Angered, Kartik takes the bangles from Lovely and keeps them on the separation line. He drags her inside their room much to Lovely's agony.

Later in the day, Bindeshwari and her four daughters-in-law are on the terrace when Bindeshwari has an accidental fall. The family panics and immediately calls in for a doctor. Lovely hears the chaos and asks Kartik to go check the matter. However, Kartik remains reluctant.

The doctor examines Bindeshwari and states that she had sprained her foot. He asks her to rest and take warm water massage thrice in the day.

When he leaves, Lovely calls out to the doctor outside the house and asks him about Bindeshwari's health.

Lovely immediately goes up to Kartik and tells him about Bindeshwari's sprained foot. She exhorts Kartik to go and see his mother as it would make her happy. Kartik tries to reason with Lovely that his visit would not be appreciated, however Lovely says that he should go for the sake of his mother.

The entire family is at Bindeshwari's bedside when Kartik arrives there. He is about to enter room when Bindeshwari asks Satyadev to tell Kartik to not enter. Kartik states that he had heard her instruction and dejectedly leaves.

Lovely who is standing outside the room too is distressed.

In the previous episode, the junk man stole Nimmi's bangles. Nimmi had accidentally left her bangles in the terrace after which the children picked them up and left them in the drawing room. Lovely had realized that something was amiss with the junk man's behavior when he hurriedly left.

Bindeshwari notices that Nimmi was not wearing her bangles and asks her the reason. Nimmi tells her that she had kept the bangles for drying the terrace as they had got wet. She tells Bindeshwari that she would go and wear the bangles. Lovely overhears their conversation.  

Nimmi asks the children if they had seen the bangles. The children get scared and are about to confess when Bindeshwari walks in to the room. Nimmi nervously tells her that she had kept her bangles someplace in the room but cannot find them. Bindeshwari is appalled at Nimmi's carelessness.

She mentions to Gehna, Simran and Ria that she was extremely disappointed with Nimmi for being careless. Simran starts looking around the house while Gehna looks for them in the kitchen. Bindeshwari states that the bangles were important because she had personally made each of her daughters-in-law wear them.

Lovely recollects that she had seen the children keep the bangles in the drawing room. She realizes that the junk man probably hurried out of the house after stealing the bangles kept there.

Lovely resolves to get the bangles back at any cost and not let the family lose any valuable. Lovely sneaks inside Simran's room to remove her police uniform. Just then, Simran comes inside. Lovely manages to hide inside the cupboard in the nick of time and not get noticed.

Lovely lays her hands on the police uniform and sneaks out of the house. She goes to the junk man's shop in the market and confronts him for stealing bangles. Seeing a stick wielding policewoman, the junk man gets scared and confesses his crime. Lovely snatches the bangles from him and warns him never to steal again. She shoos away the onlookers and gets ready to head home with the bangles.

In the previous episode, Bindeshwari raged at Gehna for reprimanding Lovely for crossing the separation line.

Bindeshwari adds that they need not start their day on a disturbed note for the sake of strangers. She orders her daughters-in-law to go forth with their daily chores.

Bindeshwari sees Bittu watching television early in the morning. When she questions him about it, Bittu states that he wanted to perform yoga as shown on television. Bindeshwari asks Bittu to go for a walk in the open instead of performing yoga at home.

Nimmi struggles with kids' lessons as they refuse to take interest in what she is trying to teach. The kids ask Nimmi to teach in the style Lovely used to adopt. Lovely overhears their conversation and is touched that the kids still loved her.

Bindeshwari finds some of Kartik and Lovely's clothes in their part of the house and picks them up. She sees one of Kartik's sweaters and recollects how Kartik had told her that the sweater she had woven was extremely comfortable and lucky for him. Bindeshwari gets emotional when she recollects that she had said to Kartik that every inch of the sweater was filled with his mother's love and blessings.  

Kartik is about to leave for work when Bindeshwari takes the sweater and keeps it on the separation line. Kartik lovingly picks up the sweater and wears it. Bindeshwari, however, orders Gehna to see to it that none of Lovely and Kartik's belongings were left in their side of the house. Though upset with Bindeshwari words, Kartik and Lovely smile to each other realizing that the sweater was given to Kartik out of love and concern for him.

Nimmi accidentally leaves her gold bangles unattended which the children playfully pick up. As soon as they see Bindeshwari leave the house, they rush to talk to Lovely. Lovely asks them who the bangles belonged to.

Just then Nimmi calls the children who hurriedly leave leaving the bangles in the drawing room.

Incidentally, the junk man who had arrived minutes before is witness to the incident. While Gehna and Lovely are away getting junk for him to take away, the man takes the opportunity to steal the bangles.

He accepts the junk from Gehna but hurriedly leaves when Lovely goes forward to hand over her junk to him. Lovely finds his behavior strange.

In the previous episode, Bindeshwari, Satyadev and the rest of the family decided to launch an attack on the robbers.

In the darkness of the night, Lovely and Kartik manage to break open the door.

The Kaushik brothers, who are hiding behind the pillars, attack a person. Bittu manages to throw a blanket on the person while the daughters-in-law tie a rope around him.

A pandemonium is created in the Kaushik house. Lovely and Kartik realize that the family members had nabbed a robber. Just then the police arrive at the spot.

Satyadev gets apprehensive when he hears Bindeshwari's voice. He realizes that the family has accidentally tied up Bindeshwari. The Kaushiks apologize to Bindeshwari for their act.  

The confusion gets cleared when Kartik informs the family that he and Lovely were forced to climb up the pipes since they forgot to take their house keys. Lovely adds that they did not want to disturb anyone.

The inspector learns that Arti had called up the Kaushiks and told them about the robbers. Arti gets embarrassed for creating a blunder. The inspector tells Arti to be careful in future.

Bindeshwari does not allow Kartik to speak in his defense. She ends the conversation by telling Kartik that Aditya would give him a spare key.  

After entering their room, Lovely and Kartik remember the incident and laugh over it.

Bindeshwari tells Satyadev that after this incident she will see to it that Lovely and Kartik do not unite with the family. Satyadev takes Lovely and Kartik's side and tries to prove their innocence. Bindeshwari ends the conversation by tagging Lovely and Kartik as irresponsible.

Lovely remembers the incident wherein Bindeshwari divided the house in two parts between her and Kartik. The following morning, Lovely wishes to perform the morning puja and therefore crosses the separation line and walks towards the other side of the house. She secretly performs the puja. She waits for Bindeshwari and her sisters-in-law to leave from the temple in the house.

Bindeshwari gets angry when she notices Lovely. Lovely explains that she wanted to perform the puja as she wanted to apologize to God for her mistakes.
 
Gehna scolds Lovely for crossing the separation line. She adds that Lovely would go to any extent to fulfill her wish and desires. Bindeshwari rages at Gehna for her statement.

Kartik takes Lovely to his favorite dhabha for dinner. He jokes that he wanted to celebrate four months of their marriage and had therefore booked the entire dhabha.

The couple happily enjoys their meal. Lovely thanks Kartik for the special dinner.

On reaching home, the couple gets apprehensive when they realize that they did not have the house keys with them. Kartik sadly states that he has never had to carry keys with him as his family would wait for him till he returned.

The couple decides to climb up the pipes and enter the house so that they do not have to ring the bell and disturb the family. Arti sees silhouettes of two persons climbing up the pipes. She believes the two to be robbers and decides to alert the Kaushik family.

Arti calls up Satyadev and informs him about the robbers. Bindeshwari and Satyadev wake up the rest of the family and together they decide to launch an attack. 

Shivendu asks Simran to bring his service revolver. He asks Utkarsh to stand hiding with a stick to beat up the robbers.

Meanwhile in the darkness of the night, Lovely and Kartik manage to break open the door. The Kaushik brothers hide behind the pillars and get set to attack when Shivendu signals.
