Sara Khan miffed at not being allowed to bare her shapely mid-riff

At her most recent appearance on a Diwali special episode of Zee TV's Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli, actor Sara Khan (currently seen as Mona in Ram Milaayi Jodi) was extremely keen to look her very best! The moment she realized she will be sharing screen space with the other leading ladies of Zee, her desire to shine the brightest naturally increased. Not one to let others steal a march over her, Sara demanded that the creative team shows her the costumes set aside for her. It was when she saw what she was to wear that Sara frowned cutely, almost like a kid.

When probed as to why she was disappointed with her outfit, Sara revealed, "Why do you guys always make me wear Kurtas and Patialas? It's Diwali! Can I not wear a saree?" The creative team tried reasoning out with her that her Diwali look had to be in alignment with her current look on the show. On being asked why she was so hell-bent on wearing a saree, Sara said, "I am extremely regular at the gym and count my calories. What's the point of maintain such a great body if you'll never allow me to showcase it?" Jaws dropped as the creative team digested Sara's concerns. Apparently, she wanted to wear a saree such that it reveals her slender, attractive waistline!

And adding insult to Sara's injury was the fact that when she landed for the shoot, much to her horror, she found all the other leading ladies in sarees. She turned to the creative team and scoffed, “When all these ladies get to wear a saree despite not having a figure like mine, why can't I wear a saree?” It was only after hours of sulking that Sara Khan was finally ready to smile again!
